The Health Information Series is an ongoing public lecture series that take place in the Lower Mainland community. Dr. Roger Wong is Clinical Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medicine, University of British Columbia (UBC), Assistant Dean of Postgraduate Medical Education of the UBC Faculty of Medicine, and Associate Program Director of the UBC Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Wong is also Consultant Physician and Head of the Geriatric Consultation Program, Vancouver General Hospital. His clinical research focuses on hospital medicine in vulnerable older adults, including quality improvement in acute care geriatrics. He has received numerous awards of appreciation from the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia to recognize his advocacy work in the community.
