The Kaatza Historical Society has completed its digitization of the Lumber Worker Newspaper Project. The BC/Western Canadian Lumber Worker was produced by the Western Canada Regional Council of the forestry labour union the International Woodworkers of America. Their historical records n provide a vivid insight into the operations of this important union, as well as bear testament to the trials and tribulations of the broader labour movement.
The digitization of the Lumber Worker Newspaper Project was digitized with support from the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre through its BC History Digitization Program and is available via Arca.
