Whether you want to discuss a project with your group or need a quiet place to focus, the Learning Centre offers rooms and workstations for all learning and studying needs.

The Irving K. Barber Learning Centre’s historic core is one of UBC’s first buildings, and has cameo appearances in many film productions.

The Irving K. Barber Learning Centre team is actively engaged in UBC Library’s implementation of the UBC Indigenous Strategic Plan. Acknowledging the harm of colonialism and the necessity for reconciliation drives much of our programming, priorities, and programming.
