Enrolment Services is planning on offering a session around raising awareness about one’s Financial Toolkit (Credit and Debt Management & Income, Expenses and Budget). The information has been mostly developed by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada and we’re hoping to share this info with our student population.
This Peer Program has 25 members and the peer leaders are taught about first aid, health and safety, wellness outreach, and leadership skills in their weekly training sessions. There will be healthy snacks at each meeting, the occasional guest facilitator, and a staff or student staff person present at every training.
The UBC Wellness Centre is a drop-in resource centre for students, offering peer-to-peer information on nutrition, mental health, sexual health, addictions, and other topics.
