The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre has completed its digitization of Tegami: Reaching Out Across Distance. The Eiji Yatabe Collection and Shinobu Family Fonds signifies the importance of the letters of correspondence written by numerous Japanese Canadians during the 1940s forced uprooting and dispossession.
The digitization of the Tegami: Reaching Out Across Distance was digitized with support from the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre through its BC History Digitization Program.
