Join author James McCann for a one-hour, all-ages workshop that will help you tell your fantasy story. One of the most important parts of planning and writing fantasy or science fiction is the setting – what are the rules of your world and what does it look like? This workshop guides you as you create your own fantasy map in which to base your stories.

James McCann
James McCann teaches story design and fantasy writing courses and workshops throughout the Lower Mainland. His own novels incorporate traditional fantasy elements in new and unexpected ways. James has led workshops for the UBC Continuing Studies Writing Centre and will be teaching a summer institute in fantasy writing for high school students this summer.
