Professor Marlene Asselin (Language and Literacy Education) will be speaking about her project Code-Ethiopia, which supports pre-school children and family literacy. This event is part of a speaker series organized by the UBC student chapter of Librarians Without Borders, to encourage our fellow Library and Information science students to engage with development and literacy issues and connect with other groups on campus involved in related work.
