The Asian Canadian and Asian Migrations Studies Program (http://acam.arts.ubc.ca) is hosting three lunch events in hopes of building student community and contributing to academic success.The lunch on September 25th will involve a talk from a guest speaker, Shirley Nakata, who will engage in a dialogue with students and explore topics around community building and experiences of being a racialized student at UBC, and how to integrate academic studies with community and creative-critical work.
