The Student Directed Seminars program allows senior students from all disciplines to propose and coordinate a senior seminar class. These seminars challenge the traditional pedagogical structures of the University by placing peer-based learning at the centre of the experience, offering students the opportunity to enhance their own education and to take a leadership role within an academic context.
This panel session will allow prospective student Coordinators the opportunity to hear from Faculty Sponsors, current Student Coordinators, and program staff about the proposal process and the experience of planning and facilitating a Student Directed Seminar.
