To celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) on campus, Equity Ambassadors (UBC Peer Programs) are planning to showcase self-identifying women from the UBC community who inspire change. A display noting some of the ways in which other countries celebrate International Women’s Day will also be shown. Students have the opportunity to actively interact with this booth, as we will be handing out flowers and taking pictures of students answering questions related to IWD.
