This workshop will offer information to graduate students on how to: Efficiently structure the thesis or dissertation process for timely completion; manage the emotional roller coaster; and find support when your motivation ebbs.
The exhibit, hosted in Rare Books & Special Collections located on Level 1 of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, will run until July 31, 2019.

Dr. Jeffery Pettis, a retired entomologist from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will enlighten us with his story of courage in presenting evidence-based scientific findings, and how the outcomes of his studies of the effects of neonicotinoid pesticides on bees have inspired him to continue working with scientists abroad and in UBC’s BeeHIVE research excellence cluster for pollinator and bee health.
Visit feline and canine themed exhibits at multiple branches of the library throughout January and February.
