Organized by UBC’s Love Your Neighbour student club, this photography exhibit is a visual kaleidoscope of the global experiences of volunteers’ sharing the efforts as global village citizens. The exhibit aims to enhance UBC students’ awareness of the needs of the world. Teams of volunteers have visited many developing countries in these few years, including Nepal, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Madagascar, Zambia, South Africa, Fiji, and several Central America countries.
Love Your Neighbour is volunteer organization with an international network of branches throughout the world. Dedicated to serving both the communities we live in as well as globally, Love Your Neighbours provides members with fun and unique volunteering opportunities both within their own communities as well as abroad. One of our unique aspects is the organization’s workshops that train up members in different aspects so they can serve more effectively.
